Varsity 2022

This year, the Blues Varsity Match was held at the Rosenblatt Pool, Iffley Road, Oxford on Saturday 26th February 2022.

Oxford dominated the Varsity Match, winning all but 3 races and finishing a massive 26 points ahead of the Cambridge Team.

A massive congratulations goes to all the swimmers who facilitated the breaking of 9 club records: Connie Dean in the 200 IM and 100 Breast, Sophie Lawrence in the 400 Free, Andrew Wilson in the 100 Breast, and Jonathan Rutter in the 200 IM and 100 Freestyle, as well as the Women’s 4×100 Medley Relay, Women’s 4×100 Freestyle Relay, and the Men’s 4×100 Medley Relay.

Max Anderson Loake was also awarded swimmer of the match after his impressive 7 second PB on the 200 free, a nail-biting win, and showcase of a trusty back-end, on the 400 Free and a huge anchor relay leg of the Medley Relay.
