Varsity 2020

This year, Varsity was held at Rosenblatt Pool, Iffley Road, Oxford on the 29th February making it the first ever leap year Varsity (maybe). In an incredibly exciting match, Oxford and Cambridge were neck and neck throughout, separable by only 6 points at the end of the individual races. Oxford then dominated the relays, winning 3 out of the 4 and beating Cambridge by 14 points overall.

This year saw an amazing 4 club records broken. Congratulations to Tobermoray Mackay-Champion for his record in the 100 Breast, Sophie Lawrence for her record in the 400 Free and James Towner for his record in the 100m Free, as well as the record-breaking Women’s 4x50m Medley relay. Theo Cannon was awarded swimmer of the match for his record breaking 100 Free, 200 IM and leg of the free relay.
