Your Impact
There are a number of areas of the club in which donations have a significant impact in supporting development and performance.
Financial Aid
The club offers a financial aid fund, which swimmers can apply to for support in attending competitions, paying membership fees, and attending training camp. Donations from alumni allow the club to increase the financial aid on offer.
Competition
Attending competitions, such as the British University Championships, incurs various costs on our swimmers including accommodation costs and entry fees. These costs are growing year-on-year, and subsidising costs would help ensure that all swimmers who wish to attend are able to.
Coaching & Equipment
Improving the quality of coaching and equipment has been a key focus in recent years to support high-performance training. Alumni donations in the 2023/24 season allowed the club to hire an assistant coach and increase the number of coached Blues and Seconds Team sessions, leading to record breaking club Varsity and BUCS successes.
